best foundation for oily, acne prone skin?

right now i switch it up between bare minerals and pixi illuminating tinted moisturizer, while i like both products, they contain sparkly particles that can sometimes make me look more oily than i actually am. i'm tired of shelling out $30 for products that i'm not in love with. what would you suggest? i'm willing to spend the money on department store items if they are good, but i'm tired of just average quality products. i need something with enough coverage for problem areas (blemishes and slight acne scarring/hyperpigmentation) but something that doesn't look to cakey (bare minerals just sits on top of my face and it gets everywhere).

try getting water-based foundations instead of oil-based. if you go to department stores they will definitely help you out.

also try youtube. a lot of beauty gurus on there have great recommendations for foundations based on skin type.
