Stretch Mark Creams For Pregnancy

No stretch marks with the 1st pregnancy, stretch marks with the 2nd?

If I didn't have any stretch marks with my first, how likely is it that I won't have them with my second?

Stretch marks are tricky, if I were you I'd save my money!

I got stretch marks before I even got pregnant going through puberty..got them on my booty and outer thighs (sexy, I know!).

Thinking they were "genetic" I was almost sure I'd get them when I was pregnant with my first one. Afterall, my mother got them with all three of us, my older sister got them while she was pregnant and I had them without even being pregnant.

I did nothing to prevent them because I thought they were my destiny, besides rubbing cocoa butter and lotions and potions on your belly during the summer made me feel like a hot sweaty pig! No thanks!

Anyways, I ended up not getting one stretch mark while pregnant but I also think that it was because I maintained a healthy and steady weight gain while I was pregnant. I gained the recommended amount of weight, drank PLENTY of agua and stretched regularly. I think the key to not getting them is not blowing up (in size) you have to give your skin the time to actually stretch and also you must be hydrated properly so that your skin has good moisture and elasticity. Now I'm not sure if that's REALLY what it was but that's what I'm thinking. We'll see though, I'm pregnant with my second so we'll see if my theory is correct.
