Hormone Imbalance: Can anyone help me understand?
I don't have any money to get out and have my hormones checked so I'm hoping I can try some natural supplements or herbs to balance my hormones.
I'm a 43-year-old woman and have had hair loss, lower voice, and feel anger and sadness at times during the month. Erratic periods. I also have noticed my breasts actually are smaller than they used to be...and so I am wondering if I have high testosterone, which I have heard can happen to women after 40. I don't take any hormones currenty and don't want to. Just wondering if anyone can recommend a good, safe hormone balancing herb? Also...do my symptoms sound like it could be high test?

It sounds like U are proceeding towards menopause. A minor ratio of male hormones are always present in women. On or near menopause female hormones are reduced and ratio of male ones is relatively increased. Due to this a woman can develop certain symptoms like U have. Mostly these are nervous in nature. Some ladies do over come them with their will, others require medication.
Pills with combination of estrogen and progesterone are available for such women with different brand names. How ever these should be used in minimal required dose.
