Should I tell my teacher or what?

I'll make this quick. My teacher is recovering from leukemia and wears a wig due to total hair loss from chemotherapy. a bunch of kids like to go up to her desk one at a time, ask questions to distract her and then drop a bunch of staples in her wig. She never feels it. but she must find them in there later. I admit I thought it was funny like the whole class but I really felt bad about it. I'm just wondering what I should do.

I agree that you should really feel bad about it; why? Because it is definitely wrong. Such pranks on a sick person shows sign of wrong breeding. It means they either do not know the difference between right from wrong or are not taught so at home.

Since you are a student and may not be sure how to go about it, I recommend the same suggestion by one who answered that I gave a thumbs up to, that you bring up the issue with your guidance counselor. First, he/she is obliged not to identify you thereby saving yourself from any retaliation either from the teacher or classmates. Second, he/she can discuss the matter and ask that teacher how she would go about it to ensure that no untowards reprisal is done.

The guidance counselor is also the only person neutal enough to get the support of the principal to act on your concern.
