Toe fungus/infection or nothing to worry about?
A while ago I noticed a black spot under my toe nail, I didn't think much of it cause I thought it was black nail polish I didn't get off or something then as the days went by I noticed it was getting bigger I read online I should heat a needle and shove it under my nail to get it out but I was too scared to. And now it is yellow/brown under my toenail and my nail is lifting off the bed and coming off. I cut off half the nail where it was starting to come off will it continue to spread to the rest of the nail and just fall off and grow back regularly or what should i do?! (P.S. I'm too scared to just yank it off because it would hurt too much)
It sounds like you have toenail fungus. I wouldn't recommend poking it with a hot needle or pulling the nail off. There are many treatments available that can clear it up for you without having to deal with any pain.
There are many over the counter topical treatments you can get from your pharmacy or you can go to the doctor and they can give you an oral medication that will clear it up as well. Toenail fungus is very common and can be a pain to get rid of. I recommend reading a little bit about it to help yourself know how to best treat it.
