Black spot in in vision blurred?
I went to the optician just a month ago as i hadnt been for a year.
In the space of one year i have went from a -2.00 to a -3.50.
i hate specs so i wear contact lenses. Thing is on a few occasions i have fallen aleep in them.
A week ago i fell asleep with them on while recovering from a night out and in the moring my top and bottom eye lids were fused together.
I washed my eyes out with drops and got my contacts out after blinking for about an hour.
Since then ive been having vision problems and real bad headaches.
I can see a dim black spot in each eye and every so often in the light i see like a blue flash as if a camera has went off,
What would cause this? (have made an appointment with the optomerist but shes not very good to be honest)
im no doctor but it could be a visual aura (visual migraine...these cause a variety of symtoms with or without a headache i have them and they last about 30 minutes and it looks like im looking through broken glass...the first time i also had the blue flashing lights at the corner of my vision on the left.there is a medical name for this if you look up visual migraine symptoms can and will differ with each individual.these visual migraines according to my reserch do not have long term affects.but stress lack of sleep and bright lights can trigger them.see your optomistrist and mentions this also check it out on google hope this helps a litte and hope you recover soon
