Does Evening Primrose Oil Causes Break-outs?

Recently I have been experiencing more adult acnes which I normally wouldn't get at all. I do not use make up nor I have switched to any new brand of skincare of facial cleanser. Diet wise also remains the same.
On looking back, the only diet change I did was just taking EPO and Vit C pills on a daily basis. Thus I was wondering if EPO is the cause of my break out but also confused because I kinda thought I read before elsewhere that EPO gives clearer and smoother skin to others.

Any of the natural frangrant oils -- primrose, tea, lavender, etc -- will cause some of the population to break out, from allergenic response. It is not unexpected that you would break out, even if you had been using it awhile. I had a similar reaction to some tea oil products once -- I had been using tea oil soap occasionally, and never had a problem, then tried a more potent tea oil lotion, had a reaction to that. I stopped the tea oil stuff for a month, but when I tried it again it always now results in a reaction.

The Vitamin C stuff is unlikely to be a factor. It's most likely just the primrose oil..
