great acne products while pregnant?
im 15w1d pregnant, and i get really bad acne around the time my period would normally come, so along with the normal skin acting up during pregnancy i also have the teenage acne along with it because im 16 and it is horrible sometimes there big ones that hurt, do you know any good products that would help to lighten it up a little?
You can't use most of the good acne products while you're pregnant. Tetracycline causes horrible birth defects, and it's the most common ingredient in prescription acne products.
I'd just make sure that you eat healthy foods and wash your face twice a day. It likely won't make your acne go away, but it may make it better. You can also use products like witch hazel or tea tree oil.
On the other hand, you may get lucky. I always have horrible acne during early pregnancy, and then, some time at the beginning of my second trimester, my skin magically clears and I get that "glow" everyone talks about.
I'm exactly 15w1d myself, and I'm looking forward to that happening within the next week.
